LZ7 PUT CHOICE TO VOICE

The message was ‘YOU HAVE A CHOICE’, and this week Hassenbrook Academy certainly made the right choice when they took the decision to host LZ7, an urban dance act who travel around the UK working and talking to students about their life and the choices that they make.

Mr Hattam, Leader of Learning in Humanities said, “Front man Lindz West and the other band members talked to the students in workshops throughout the day about their Christian faith and experiences. It was explained that we always have choices and how sometimes the choices we make can be wrong, but can be overcome, no matter what your own faith or beliefs may be.

An amazing concert at lunchtime enjoyed by the whole school further endorsed their message through music. Students joined the band on stage and won tickets to the concert being staged this weekend at the Civic Hall. The whole day was a huge success and enhanced the positive vibe that exists in Hassenbrook, where students are encouraged to make the right choice.’
