Marathon fundraiser will be Phab for kids!
Students and Staff at Hassenbrook School will be supporting Mr Anthony Hattam, Leader of Learning in Humanities at the school, raise funds for the ‘Phab Kids’ charity. Mr Hattam has signed up for the Virgin London Marathon in a bid to raise a figure of at least £1500.
Mr Glasby, Headteacher at Hassenbrook School said, ‘ We have agreed to a non-uniform day on the 11th February for staff and pupils to help boost Mr Hattam’s fundraising efforts. The Phab Kids charity is a worthy recipient that has been operating for over 50 years, working to bring able bodied and disabled bodied children together, organising residential trips and other activities. The event at school should hopefully raise a substantial figure but if anybody would like to contribute, donations no matter what size would be greatly appreciated. Money raised will go to supporting a network of over 200 clubs nationwide'.
