Christmas Delivery is First Class
Head Girl, Head Boy and deputies from Hassenbrook School visited Tesco Express this week to collect 34 Christmas food parcels which will soon be winging their way to elderly local residents.
The money to fund the parcels has been raised through a non uniform day that the whole school took part in. The deserving local residents nominated by both students and staff will be receiving their hand-delivered parcels over the coming week.
Tesco’s Express in Stanford—le-Hope have helped greatly by putting the parcels together for us and choosing the best Christmas lines on offer in their store to create the seasonal treats.
Ms Bray, Deputy Headteacher at Hassenbrook School said, ‘This is an annual event within the school which brings cheer to the community at this festive time. ’
